The past economic and geopolitical events over the past few weeks are a continuation of the problematic events following COVID, Civil Unrest, Demographic Shift and Industry Corrections.  Combined, these macro events continue to expose organization’s lack of readiness, the demand for growth and sustainable change while in the midst of a pending recession.

For HR and Marketing professionals, Reframe is the first tech enabled change management platform that helps accelerate sustainable change and growth while building more inclusive experiences at scale.

Yesterday we introduced an industry first:  [Beta] The Reframe Cultural Maturity “Mini” Assessment™ Widget.

This free tool will help answer the one question we’ve gotten since introducing the attitude and behavior based modeling tool:  What is my Cultural Maturity score and what is my organization’s cultural change readiness?

Based on thousands of hours, hundreds of interviews, testing and validating the Reframe Cultural Maturity Modeling Tool™ with nearly 100 brands, we’ve now automated our patent – pending Reframe Cultural Maturity Assessment™.  The Reframe Cultural Maturity Assessment™, which utilizes machine learning technology and data, provides insights into an organization’s readiness and cultural maturity.

There is a lot of tension and debate about whether or not the practice of diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI) is still needed today.  The short answer is Yes “AND.” Yes you need it “AND” there is a need to modernize the practice of DEI and go beyond integrating the workforce and workplace.  This is why we are introducing the Reframe Cultural Maturity Assessment™ and here are the top three (3) reasons why every organization needs one:

Reason #1

Every organization needs to know where their gaps lie in their Strategy, Structure, Segments (Employee and Customer) and Systems.

Too often when Reframe assessed organizations, the leadership team would tout their diversity ambitions, meaning how they were measuring their racial, ethnic numbers and scorecard.  What the leadership team could not articulate – where their organizational cultural gaps exist with their ambition for changing and closing the gaps.  It is fine to bring in a diverse workforce, how do you change the organization so they actually stay, thrive and elevate while they are there.

Reason #2

When there is little to no holistic organizational alignment in closing the gaps, then there is little organization impact.

The argument for modernizing the practice of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) is impact.  Given the level of investment and decades long effort to solve this problem, why little to no impact?  We’ve been using the wrong practice to solve this decades old problem.  The practice we all should be using is change management to solve for how we change organizations.  Within the practice of change management, a maturity model is a required tool.  Within the practice of DEI, there is no cultural maturity model that helps organizations understand the distance between where they are today and what needs to change to become culturally mature and impact the organization.

Reason #3

Follow the science.  The Reframe Cultural Maturity Model is a behavioral based modeling assessment and tool.  For most organizations, there is little to no science involved measuring continuous change and impact, hence maybe why we have not solved the decades old problem.

Because this problem is more than five decades old, Reframe thought adding a little science would be helpful to not only identify the root cause for the barriers to change but also use technology to provide continuous improvement and accountability.  Most organizations lack scale and the ability to sustain change because they are not using science and technology.
